David Birdsall, Owner and President
David joined the family business 16 years ago as an intern,
and ultimately purchased Yadon from David and Carol Rasor in
2001. He's a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a
degree in Business Administration / Management Information
Systems. "I love the challenge of this business" says David.
"We deal with so many different people and details on every
project. Supplying what the Architects and owners want in the
time frame that the contractors need and teaming with
manufacturers that can perform is a never ending
challenge." |

Eric Rieckers, AHC, CDT, Project
Manager/Estimator, Specification Writer
Eric joined Yadon Construction Specialties in 1998. Eric
offers customers a broad knowledge base, with a specialty in
finish hardware and Total Doors. His efficiency and careful
attention to detail are instrumental in Yadon's ability to
meet our customers' needs. Eric works as a Project Manager on
large and small commercial projects such as schools, medical
buildings, hospitals, restaurants, office buildings, etc. His
involvement also includes over-the-counter sales. Eric
attended college in Washington State, majoring in
Manufacturing Technology.
Continuing Education:
- Construction Specification Institute, completing his
Construction Document Technologist Certification
(CDT).
- Door & Hardware Institute, completing his
Architectural Hardware Consultants Certification
(AHC).

Shawn Crawford, Project
Manager/Estimator
Shawn joined the company in 1997. Specializing in wood
doors, he is also versatile and knowledgeable in a wide
variety of areas including hollow metal doors and frames,
finish hardware, toilet accessories and toilet partitions.
Helpful, friendly and thorough, Shawn works hard to provide
customers with what they want, when they need it.
Shawn
works as a Project Manager on large and small commercial
projects such as schools, medical building, restaurants,
hotels, etc. Also includes over-the-counter
sales.
Shawn attended college in Washington State,
majoring in Business Administration.

Barbara Rhodes, Office Manager
A 29-year veteran of the construction industry, including
positions as Project Manager and Administrative Assistant with
Washington and Idaho general contractors. Barbara joined Yadon
in 2001 as Office Manager. She's "the voice you hear" when you
phone the company. Along with managing every day operations,
she manages the service department, handles accounting, and
overall customer service.
Barbara attended college in
Washington State, majoring in Business
